CONCEPT

Welcome one and all. This site is a political action site.

This site is about doing more than talking.

Eugene Ionesco said. "Ideologies separate us. Dreams and Anguish bring us together. In short, While my dreams are of individual freedom defined by me; when I wake up from my dreams I know that my freedom has limits.

The parameters of those freedoms which are set by the government is what this site is about.

Simply I believe in "self governance" to whatever extent possible.

The Madisonian view of government is that the Constitution was written with its checks and balances to insure the inefficiency of government - as a means of protecting us from its excesses. After all the most efficient form of government is a dictatorship. Therefore the only thing to do with inefficiency is to minimize it through minimizing government.

I believe the only way to work towards this freedom is for all to participate starting from the bottom up and creating a synergy with our leaders to protect and defend that freedom.

This is the place where I want to join together with others to see to it that common sense rules are applied to government as we apply them to ourselves. Also I want this to be a place where people who want to actually do something can find or create with others that something they desire to do.

As I blog about my wanderings through my community and its politics I hope some will learn from my experiences; both what to and not to do.

Yes that includes politics as that is the constitutional way we have of affecting change.

I will be posting my views on the candidates. I will also try to look past the candidate to the substance of what they are trying to do. I will congratulate them when they do well, and criticize when they do badly. I will realize all the time that just like me they are human and like me sometimes wrong.

Above all I want to highlight what individuals are doing to promote individual freedom in our community and how that compares to what the government is doing.

I will also be posting what I feel are worthy local individual efforts within the community that otherwise may not get noticed.

Above all feel free to post here. If this works I hope to get interviews and more active and interactive stuff. We'll see. It depends on my response. Let me know.
